FS Dive Coach offers the RAID Nitrox Plus specialty course, a significant step for certified divers aiming to extend their bottom time and enhance safety through enriched air. This program is specifically tailored for those looking to explore deeper wrecks, reaching depths of up to 40 meters, and mastering the use of stage tanks for extended gas supply. The curriculum emphasizes a holistic approach, integrating the diver, the environment, and critical decision-making processes. This course is designed to align with modern diving regulations, such as the new RD 1188/2025, fostering a proactive safety culture and building a robust personal foundation for both recreational enjoyment and potential professional advancement.

The RAID Nitrox Plus course at FS Dive Coach involves a blend of online and in-person training. Participants will engage in two online theory sessions followed by four intensive days of practical application. These include confined water drills and open water dives conducted at sites suitable for reaching depths up to 35 meters. Key theoretical topics cover the physics and physiology of Nitrox, emotional intelligence in diving, advanced stage cylinder configurations, efficient gas switching techniques, and the mindful planning of decompression dives. Practical skills honed include advanced rescue techniques, Surface Marker Buoy (SMB) deployment, precise gas analysis, and navigation, all reinforced by thorough debriefings.

To enroll in the RAID Nitrox Plus course, divers must be at least 18 years old and hold RAID Open Water 20 and Deep 40 certifications, or their recognized equivalents. A foundational RAID Nitrox certification is also a prerequisite, alongside a minimum of 20 logged dives or 10 hours of cumulative bottom time. Divers intending to utilize sidemount or twinset configurations during the course must possess specific certifications for these setups. Furthermore, those planning to add a third cylinder to their configuration will need at least five prior dives using their chosen setup.

The course fee is €799 plus VAT, with this pricing valid until December 31, 2026. FS Dive Coach also offers a special promotion: the standard Nitrox Course can be added for just €49 if completed concurrently with the Nitrox Plus program. This comprehensive price covers all online sessions, in-person theory instruction, confined water training, and open water dive sessions. Excluded from the fee are the international certification card processing, accommodation, meals, equipment rental, tank fills, and any associated boat fees.
