Advanced Open Water Diver

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course at Yemaya Sub is designed to build upon your existing Open Water Diver certification, enhancing your skills and confidence before you accumulate extensive diving experience. This program prepares you to explore depths of up to 30 meters, refining your diving techniques under direct professional supervision. You will complete five open water dives, each introducing new experiences and skills. Two dives are mandatory: Deep Diving, focusing on safe practices for deeper excursions, and Underwater Navigation, where you'll master compass use for precise orientation. The remaining three dives offer flexibility, allowing you to choose from specialties like Search and Recovery, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Digital Underwater Photography, Boat Diving, or Nitrox diving, among others.

This advanced certification will significantly increase your underwater confidence and equip you with additional diving techniques to explore the marine environment more intensely. The course emphasizes learning the necessary skills for deeper dives safely, with instructors guiding you to improve your diving form and reach greater depths securely. Yemaya Sub, a PADI-certified dive center, ensures you receive high-quality instruction and a globally recognized certification. The small group setting, with a maximum of 4 students per instructor, guarantees personalized attention and a focused learning experience.

Participants can expect to enjoy diving in conditions that, according to climate data, see sea temperatures averaging around 17.2°C, with monthly air temperatures ranging from 10.1°C in January to a pleasant 20.1°C in August. While rainfall varies throughout the year, with peaks in autumn and winter, the summer months of July and August offer drier conditions with less than 50mm of rain. This makes the summer period particularly suitable for maximizing your open water dive time and enjoying the underwater world.

Included in your course fee are all instructional sessions, the necessary dive equipment, air fills, boat dives, and comprehensive didactic materials, including a manual, DVD, buoy, whistle, and plastic slate. Mandatory dive insurance and your international certification and credential are also provided. This all-inclusive approach ensures you are well-prepared and recognized globally for your advanced diving capabilities. Upon completion, you'll be ready for further adventures, such as the PADI Rescue Diver course, or simply to explore more challenging dive sites with greater autonomy and skill.
