Descrição do Curso
The PADI Open Water Diver certification is the foundational step for anyone aspiring to explore the underwater world, and Buceo Hondarribia offers this globally recognized course. This program is meticulously structured into three key phases: self-paced online theory, practical skill development in confined water, and application of these skills during open water dives. You will gain essential knowledge covering dive equipment, the physics of diving, marine biology, and critical safety protocols, ensuring you build the confidence and competence required for safe diving practices.
At Buceo Hondarribia, flexibility is a cornerstone of your learning experience. The theoretical component can be completed independently using provided materials or online, with optional review sessions available at the center for clarification. Practical training commences in a controlled pool environment, simulating essential scuba scenarios such as mask clearing and buddy assistance, providing a secure setting to hone your abilities. The course culminates with four open water dives, conducted from their vessels in the sheltered Cala de los Frailes, reaching depths of up to 18 meters. These dives serve to reinforce the skills acquired in the pool and introduce the standard practice of boat diving.
Buceo Hondarribia ensures a comprehensive learning experience by including all necessary scuba equipment, such as a dive computer, wetsuit, fins, regulator set, BCD, and cylinder with unlimited air, along with weights. The course also encompasses instruction from experienced PADI professionals, all boat dives, certification processing, and insurance coverage. The center's strategic location within the Hondarribia marina enhances convenience, offering accessible changing rooms, showers, and a comfortable area to relax post-dive. This course is designed to equip you with the fundamental skills and knowledge to become a certified diver, opening up a world of underwater adventure.
