Advanced Explorer

The Advanced Explorer course at Ocean First Education is designed for certified divers aged 12-17 looking to expand their underwater capabilities and knowledge. This program builds upon foundational scuba skills, introducing advanced techniques necessary for deeper exploration and complex dives. Participants will gain additional certifications relevant to advanced diving, enhancing their confidence and competence in various underwater environments. A significant component of this course involves field-based marine science projects, allowing students to apply scientific principles directly to their diving experiences. The curriculum culminates in an exclusive shark research experience, offering a unique opportunity to contribute to marine conservation efforts and learn about these fascinating creatures firsthand. This course is offered in partnership with NAUI, PADI, SDI, and SSI, providing flexibility in certification pathways.
