Advanced Open Water

The Advanced Adventurer program at Koh Tao Scuba Club runs over two days and includes five specialty dives. Based on the course materials and imagery, dives include a night dive and a dive at the HTMS Sattakut shipwreck — a real wreck site accessible from Koh Tao. The five-dive structure gives you a mix of environments and skills rather than repeating the same type of dive.

The program is priced at 9,000 THB and takes you to depths of up to 30 meters, compared to the 18-meter limit of the Open Water. That increase opens up a different tier of sites around the island. Alumni of the Open Water course done at Koh Tao Scuba Club get 500 THB off the package price.

Nitrox tanks appear in the course imagery, suggesting enriched air is part of the specialty dive mix — though you'd need to confirm the exact specialty list when booking. The center runs all courses daily with instructors across multiple languages, so scheduling is flexible.

The course is available in English, Thai, French, Spanish, Dutch, German, Swedish, and Russian. As with all courses at the center, pick-up and drop-off from accommodation across the island is arranged.
