Descrição do Curso
The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course is designed for certified Open Water Divers seeking to expand their underwater horizons. At Kela Ka Adventures, this program allows you to dive to a maximum depth of 30 meters (100 feet), significantly increasing the range of dive sites accessible to you. The curriculum typically spans 2 to 3 days and includes five PADI Adventure Dives. Two of these are core requirements: Deep Diving, which teaches you to manage the physiological effects and challenges of deeper water, and Underwater Navigation, honing your compass and natural navigation skills for confident exploration.
Beyond the mandatory dives, you will select three additional Adventure Dives tailored to your interests. Options often include Night Diving, Wreck Diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy, or Drift Diving, allowing for a personalized learning experience. Kela Ka Adventures leverages its expertise to guide you through these specialized skills. The first dives of certain PADI Specialty Diver courses can also count towards your Advanced Open Water Diver certification, offering a flexible pathway to enhanced diving capabilities.
To enroll, you must be a certified PADI Open Water Diver. Divers aged 10 and 11 can earn a Junior Adventure Diver certification with specific depth and supervision limits, while those 12 and older can pursue the full Advanced Open Water Diver certification. This course is a vital step in building confidence and expanding your diving repertoire, preparing you for more challenging environments and future advanced training. It unlocks the potential to explore a wider variety of underwater landscapes and conditions.
This certification is a crucial progression for any diver aiming to gain more experience and explore further. It builds upon your existing Open Water skills, introducing you to new techniques and dive planning considerations. By completing the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course with Kela Ka Adventures, you gain the confidence and competence to plan and execute dives in a broader range of conditions, opening up a world of new dive adventures and possibilities.
