Descrição do Curso
The PADI Divemaster course at Delta Buceo is the first professional level in scuba diving, transforming you into a dive leader. This program is designed to hone your diving skills, knowledge, and rescue abilities to a professional standard. As a Divemaster, you'll gain the experience and qualifications to supervise diving activities and assist instructors with student divers.
The course involves extensive theoretical knowledge development, covering topics such as physics, physiology, equipment, dive planning, and risk management. You'll also participate in water skills development, mastering 24 different dive exercises to demonstration quality. This includes advanced water skills, rescue assessment, and stamina exercises. Practical application is key, with modules on simulating dives, assisting instructors, and managing logistics within a dive center.
Delta Buceo provides comprehensive training, emphasizing that the Divemaster course is a significant commitment requiring dedication and practice. You'll learn to guide certified divers on enjoyable dives, assist instructors during training sessions, and potentially teach certain PADI programs independently. This role requires a strong understanding of dive theory, excellent in-water skills, and the ability to manage divers and potential problems effectively.
To enroll, you need to be at least 18 years old, have a PADI Rescue Diver certification (or equivalent), have completed EFR training within the last 24 months, and have at least 40 logged dives (with 60 required for certification). The course duration is flexible, with a recommended minimum of two weeks, but can be adapted to individual needs. Upon completion, you'll be ready to embark on a professional diving career.
