SSI Dive Guide

The SSI Divemaster course at Scuba Nova costs €835 and leads to the most widely held professional-level certification in recreational diving. At this school, several team members are currently in Divemaster training — Ruben Hooijenga, Christiaan van den Elshout, and Martin Ponte — which means candidates have peers going through the same process and active support from the full instructor team.

Divemasters can guide certified divers, assist instructors during courses, and work on dive boats and resorts. The course builds leadership, rescue skills, and a deeper understanding of dive physics and physiology.

For anyone already working toward the full professional pathway, the Divemaster at Scuba Nova feeds naturally into the SSI Instructor program.
