Reactivar

The Reactivar programme at Big Fish is a single-day refresher for certified divers returning to the water after a break. It includes one guided dive and a review of basic skills, priced at 90€. No specific time limit is stated for how long a diver needs to have been out of the water — it's aimed at anyone feeling rusty or wanting to rebuild confidence before joining the standard recreational dive rotation.

The review session covers buoyancy, mask clearing, regulator recovery, and hand signals before entering the water. The dive itself takes place at one of the shallower sites in the Big Fish rotation — typically Playa Las Vistas at 6–10m — where conditions allow skills confirmation without adding depth or current as additional variables. After the dive, certified participants can immediately book into the multi-dive packages at 35–50€ per dive.

Equipment is fully provided: Mares wetsuit, BCD, regulator, tank, mask, and fins. Minimum age is 10 years and an existing certification is required. Van transfers are included in the standard course package format, and instruction is available in English, German, Spanish, or Polish.

Several instructors at Big Fish have 5+ years of experience on the island. Working through the re-orientation process with someone familiar with the local sites — depth, visibility, what to expect on the descent — is a different experience from doing a generic refresher in a swimming pool. The 90€ price covers everything for the single session.
