NORMOXIC TRIMIX 67m

Normoxic Trimix extends the depth range to 67 m using helium-oxygen-nitrogen blends with a minimum 18% oxygen and maximum 30% helium. The helium addition cuts nitrogen narcosis — at 67 m, the cognitive load without helium is significant.

Procedures at this level build on what was learned in Technical Foundations and Decompression Procedures, with the primary change being the introduction of helium gas planning and management. The decompression ceiling extends to 60 minutes.

Entry requires Diver Stress & Rescue, TXR Decompression Procedures, Oxygen Provider, 75 logged dives, and 10 or more decompression dives. The depth and gas complexity make this appropriate only for divers who have worked through the full sequential TXR track.
