Advanced Open Water

The PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course at Buceo Nomade is your next step to unlocking deeper and more diverse underwater exploration. Building directly on your Open Water certification, this program allows you to expand your diving capabilities and confidence. You will gain the skills necessary to explore depths of up to 30 meters, opening up a new realm of dive sites and marine encounters. The curriculum is designed for practical, hands-on learning in real-world conditions.

This course includes two essential adventure dives: Deep Diving, focusing on the techniques and physiological considerations for greater depths, and Underwater Navigation, refining your compass and natural orientation skills. You will then select three additional adventure dives from a wide array of options to tailor the experience to your interests. Popular choices include Digital Underwater Photography, Naturalist, Search and Recovery, Fish Identification, Underwater Scooter (DPV), Night Diving, Wreck Diving, Nitrox, Multilevel and Computer Diving, and Peak Performance Buoyancy. These dives are conducted at various sites around Los Molles, offering diverse underwater topography and marine life.

Buceo Nomade typically schedules the practical portion of the Advanced Open Water Diver course over approximately 2 to 3 days, which can be consecutive or spread out based on your availability. The theoretical component is self-paced, allowing you to master the concepts before your underwater sessions.
