You will need to have logged at least 40 dives to begin the course, with a minimum of 60 dives required for certification. A medical statement signed by a physician within the past 12 months is also a prerequisite. Upon successful completion, you will be eligible to enroll in the PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor course, marking the next step in your professional development.
