Open Water Diver

The PADI Open Water Diver + 1 Nitrox Adventure Dive course at Calypso Dive Center provides a comprehensive introduction to scuba diving, combining foundational skills with enriched air diving knowledge. This package is designed for individuals eager to achieve their PADI Open Water Diver certification and immediately gain experience with Nitrox. You will complete all necessary theory, confined water sessions, and four open water dives to master essential diving techniques. The curriculum focuses on safe dive planning, equipment management, and underwater navigation under the expert guidance of PADI instructors.

This combined course offers a significant advantage by including a Nitrox Adventure Dive, allowing you to experience the benefits of breathing enriched air from the outset. Nitrox can extend your bottom times and shorten surface intervals at specific depths, enhancing your underwater exploration. This specialized dive teaches you the safe procedures for using Nitrox, preparing you for more advanced diving. The practical training takes place in the clear waters of Gran Canaria, known for their pleasant temperatures and marine life.

Calypso Dive Center offers this course with PADI certification, ensuring globally recognized standards. Participants should be at least 10 years old and comfortable in the water to enroll in the Open Water Diver portion.
