Open Water Diver

Zeus Dive Center offers the PADI and SSI Open Water Diver certification, the globally recognized entry-level qualification for scuba diving. This comprehensive program is designed to equip you with the foundational skills and knowledge to explore the underwater world independently, reaching depths of up to 18 meters. The course includes theoretical knowledge development covering dive physics, physiology, equipment, and safety procedures. You will then progress to confined water training, practicing essential skills like mask clearing and buoyancy control in a controlled environment, typically a pool or shallow, calm sea area.

The practical application of your new skills takes place during four open water dives conducted at carefully selected dive sites around Gran Canaria. These dives provide an opportunity to encounter the island's volcanic underwater landscapes and diverse marine life. Your certified instructor will guide you through applying learned techniques, ensuring you become a safe and responsible diver capable of enjoying the tranquility and beauty of the ocean. Participants must be at least 10 years old, with a junior certification available for those aged 10-15.

Zeus Dive Center provides high-quality diving equipment for the duration of the course. As a special incentive for new students, a complimentary diving mask is included, offering a perfect start to your diving journey.
