Discover Scuba Diving

Blue Dive Experience offers the Discover Scuba Diving program, also known as Bautizo de Buceo, providing a unique first immersion into the underwater world. This introductory experience is specifically designed for individuals curious about breathing underwater but not yet committed to a full certification. Participants will learn essential scuba equipment usage in shallow, controlled waters and receive a concise introduction to exploring the marine environment. The entire program, lasting approximately 2.5 hours, includes an exploration of the seabed within the protected Northern Menorca Marine Reserve and the s’Albufera des Grau Natural Park, offering a glimpse into a vibrant ecosystem.

This program is ideal for anyone aged 10 and above who is in good physical and medical condition, with no prior diving experience necessary. Blue Dive Experience focuses on safety and enjoyment, with certified instructors managing all equipment and buoyancy. This allows participants to concentrate on the sensation of breathing underwater and observing marine life. The dive sites are chosen for their calm conditions and rich biodiversity, making them perfect for a first-time diver. You can expect to see species like groupers, moray eels, and octopuses in their natural habitat.

Before entering the water, you will receive a thorough briefing covering equipment details, fundamental diving rules, and essential underwater communication signals. This preparation ensures comfort and safety, allowing you to fully appreciate the experience. Following this briefing and some basic in-water exercises, your guided dive will take you through Menorca's exceptionally clear waters. The dive depth is kept within safe introductory limits, typically no more than 12 meters, ensuring a comfortable and accessible experience for all.

Blue Dive Experience provides all necessary scuba equipment, including mask, snorkel, fins, wetsuit, tank, weights, regulator, and buoyancy compensator. The only requirements are a genuine desire to explore and adherence to safety guidelines, such as abstaining from flying for 12 hours post-activity and avoiding alcohol beforehand. This introductory dive is perfect for families and groups looking for a shared adventure, with instructors ensuring even first-time divers feel secure and can fully appreciate the beauty beneath the waves. The center is certified by PADI and SSI, adhering to high international standards.
