Descrição do Curso
The club runs introductory dives — baptêmes — both for adults and for children, including a large-scale version organised in partnership with the KIWANIS Metz Austrasie charity, now in its 12th consecutive year. The 2026 edition brought 84 children into the water at Piscine Belle Isle in a single session. For adult members, a complimentary baptism dive is offered as a first contact with the equipment.
All introductory sessions take place in the controlled environment of Piscine Belle Isle in Metz, where the club holds its regular Thursday adult sessions. The pool setting means calm water, predictable depth, and instructors who know the space well — the same encadrants who run weekly training are the ones leading the baptism sessions.
The children's sessions are coordinated by Gérard LORBER, who holds MF1, Moniteur Nitrox Confirmé, initiateur apnée, RIFA, RIFAP, and ANTEOR qualifications. For adult baptisms, Bruno IUNGO (N2 Initiateur E1) manages coordination. The club's approach to these sessions is hands-on and high-volume without being rushed — the 12th Kiwanis edition being a recurring proof of that capacity.
No specific pricing is published for baptism dives beyond the fact that a first dive is offered free to prospective members. For charity events, the organisation is handled in coordination with KIWANIS.
