The PADI Divemaster course at ABC-Divers represents the first professional tier within the PADI system, transitioning recreational divers into PADI Leaders. This program significantly enhances your diving knowledge and technical capabilities to a professional standard. Upon completion, you will be equipped to supervise diving activities and provide assistance to student divers, marking a substantial advancement for those aiming for a career in the dive industry or seeking to elevate their personal diving proficiency. The curriculum is designed to build upon your existing skills, preparing you for the responsibilities of a dive professional.

Extensive knowledge development forms a core part of the course, encompassing dive theory, physics, physiology, equipment considerations, dive planning strategies, and risk management, all viewed through the lens of a Divemaster's role. Water skills training is rigorous, requiring mastery of all 24 basic open water skills to demonstration quality. Participants will also undertake stamina assessments, including a 400-meter swim and an 800-meter snorkel swim, alongside comprehensive rescue scenario training. Practical application is emphasized through assisting PADI Instructors with actual courses and leading supervised dives for certified divers, ensuring real-world experience.

ABC-Divers, as a PADI 5-star Instructor Development Center, offers an optimal environment for professional growth, providing personalized attention throughout the training. To enroll, candidates must be at least 15 years old and hold PADI Rescue Diver certification (or equivalent), with a minimum of 40 logged dives required to commence the course; 60 dives are necessary for final certification. The course fee of 1299 EUR covers instruction, equipment rental, and certification fees. Please note that PADI learning materials and PADI registration fees are separate costs. This investment prepares you for a leadership role in the diving community.

Graduates of the PADI Divemaster program at ABC-Divers are qualified to guide certified divers on tours, assist PADI Instructors during training, conduct PADI Discover Scuba Diving experiences, and even teach certain PADI specialty courses.
