Descrição do Curso
Embark on the PADI Divemaster course at Scuba Murcia, the foundational professional certification designed for aspiring dive leaders and career-focused individuals. This comprehensive program elevates your diving expertise, focusing on leadership and the ability to supervise dive activities and assist PADI Instructors with students. You will gain invaluable experience working directly with a PADI Instructor, significantly expanding your dive knowledge and practical skills to meet professional standards.
The curriculum includes mastering all 22 Open Water Diver skills, demonstrating proficiency in water skills assessments such as timed swims and treading water, and developing expertise in dive planning, mapping, and emergency procedures. While the course covers specialties like deep and search & recovery diving, please note that separate certification fees apply for these. A key component involves learning to supervise both training and non-training dives, effectively assisting instructors, conducting the PADI ReActivate course, and serving as a Discover Scuba Diving Leader.
To enroll in this professional-level training, candidates must hold PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and Rescue Diver certifications (or equivalent), be at least 18 years old, and have logged a minimum of 40 scuba dives. Furthermore, current EFR Primary and Secondary Care training completed within the last 24 months is mandatory. A medical fitness to dive clearance from a physician, obtained within the last 12 months, is also a prerequisite. The course fee is set at 800 EUR, but this price excludes essential Divemaster crew pack materials, the PADI certification fee, and any additional training that might be necessary. Participants are also required to have dive insurance, which can be arranged through Scuba Murcia.
Scuba Murcia offers this PADI Divemaster course in both English and Spanish, catering to a diverse range of international and local divers. While specific dive site details for the practical application of skills are determined by the instructor based on conditions, the focus remains on developing robust leadership capabilities. The center's commitment to professional development ensures that graduates are well-prepared for the next steps in their dive professional journey, whether that's continuing education or entering the dive industry.
