The SCUBA DIVER – OPEN WATER DIVER course at Isurus is your entry point into the vast underwater world, providing the foundational certification for recreational diving. This comprehensive program covers essential diving techniques, familiarization with scuba equipment, and critical safety protocols necessary for exploring beneath the surface. You will master gear management, buoyancy control, and effective underwater navigation. The curriculum balances theoretical knowledge with practical skill development, including dive planning, physics, physiology, and environmental awareness, all within the context of the beautiful marine reserves near Mallorca.

Training takes place in both confined water and open water environments. Confined water sessions focus on practicing fundamental skills such as mask clearing, regulator recovery, and emergency ascent procedures. These are followed by several open water dives conducted at actual dive sites, allowing you to apply your new abilities in real-world conditions. You'll learn to interact responsibly with the local marine ecosystem and enjoy the underwater realm safely. Upon successful completion, you will earn an internationally recognized certification, enabling you to dive with a buddy to a maximum depth of 18 meters.

The waters around Mallorca offer excellent conditions for learning to dive. While the provided climate data shows average air temperatures ranging from 11.7°C in December to 27.3°C in August, the sea temperature averages 19.7°C, making it suitable for diving throughout much of the year, particularly during the warmer months. These conditions facilitate comfortable practice and exploration of the local marine life.
