Divemaster

The SSI Divemaster programme at Plongéquilibre is the entry point into professional diving, and the school is direct about what that means: guiding certified divers, supervising dives, assisting instructors, and taking on responsibility for groups in the water. It's a different role from being an experienced recreational diver.

Plongéquilibre has an Instructor Trainer on the team — not just an instructor — which matters for a professional-track programme where the quality of mentoring shapes the candidate's actual competence. The school notes that a significant portion of the preparation can be done from the Paris area, using the Villeneuve-la-Garenne pool and local infrastructure.

Pricing is on request (devis). The Divemaster is also the required step before the Instructor Training Course for those planning to certify divers professionally. Duration is flexible and depends on the candidate's availability and existing dive log.
