Advanced Open Water

The SSI Advanced Open Water Diver course at ChrisDiving is designed for certified Open Water Divers eager to enhance their underwater capabilities. This program involves completing five distinct specialty dives, with mandatory deep and navigation dives. These dives will extend your certified depth limit to 30 meters, allowing access to a wider range of dive sites and experiences. The course focuses on building confidence and broadening your diving skills in a safe, supervised environment, guided by experienced SSI instructors.

Through practical application, you will gain hands-on experience in various diving scenarios. The deep dive component specifically addresses the planning and execution of dives to greater depths, up to the 30-meter limit, while the navigation dive sharpens your ability to orient yourself underwater using both compasses and natural references. Depending on local offerings and your interests, other specialty dives may include night diving, wreck exploration, or peak performance buoyancy, offering a diverse learning experience.
