Descrição do Curso
The CCR Diluant Normoxique course at Tech of Plongee is designed to equip divers with the advanced skills necessary to operate a closed-circuit rebreather using a normoxic diluent. This specialized training allows for extended bottom times and deeper dives compared to air or nitrox diluents, while meticulously managing oxygen partial pressure. The curriculum typically spans a minimum of four days, focusing on the theoretical underpinnings and practical application of normoxic rebreather diving. Participants will gain proficiency in advanced gas planning, complex decompression strategies, and the critical management of oxygen levels at depth. The course is certified under TDI, a globally recognized technical diving agency, ensuring a high standard of training and certification.
This course delves into the physiological effects associated with breathing normoxic gas mixtures at depth, providing divers with a comprehensive understanding of the risks and rewards. Troubleshooting common rebreather issues specific to normoxic operations is a key component of the theoretical instruction. Practical training involves executing a series of challenging dives where students apply their learned skills in real-world scenarios. Emphasis is placed on meticulous pre-dive planning and strict adherence to established procedures, which are paramount for safe and successful normoxic rebreather exploration. The certification achieved upon completion is a significant step for technical divers aiming to explore deeper and more remote dive sites.
While the course fee of 1200 EUR covers instruction and certification, essential equipment is not included. Candidates are expected to be proficient with their chosen rebreather unit prior to the course, and rebreather rental options may be available through Tech of Plongee. The center's commitment to safety and technical excellence is reflected in its adherence to rigorous training standards. The FFESSM and SDI certifications also offered by the center highlight its broad expertise in various diving disciplines, providing a solid foundation for technical diving progression.
Upon successful completion of the CCR Diluant Normoxique course, divers will be certified to utilize rebreathers with normoxic diluent, opening up possibilities for exploring previously inaccessible deeper dive sites. This certification is a crucial stepping stone for those aspiring to advance their technical diving capabilities. It enables a safer and more efficient approach to deep diving, allowing for greater scientific observation or photographic opportunities. The skills acquired are directly applicable to advanced technical diving itineraries, pushing the boundaries of recreational and exploration diving.
