Bubblemaker

The PADI Bubblemaker program at Discovery Divers offers a thrilling first taste of scuba diving for children aged 8 and up. This introductory experience is carefully designed to be safe, fun, and engaging, allowing youngsters to discover the sensation of breathing underwater in a controlled environment. Participants will use specially adapted scuba equipment suitable for children, ensuring comfort and ease of use. Under the direct supervision of a PADI professional, kids will explore shallow water, no deeper than two meters (six feet), making their first underwater bubbles.

During the Bubblemaker program, children learn fundamental diving skills in a playful manner. They will get acquainted with essential gear like masks, snorkels, fins, buoyancy compensators (BCDs), regulators, and dive tanks. Simple skills such as clearing their mask and regulator are introduced, focusing on building confidence and enjoyment. The emphasis is on exploration and experiencing the joy of weightlessness, making it a memorable adventure.

To join this exciting program, children must be at least 8 years old and comfortable in the water; no prior diving experience is required. Parental supervision is mandatory throughout the session. The program is typically conducted in a pool or a similar safe, shallow water setting, ensuring a secure learning environment. Discovery Divers ensures a high level of attention for each child, fostering a positive and exciting introduction to the underwater world.

Upon successful completion of the PADI Bubblemaker program, each child receives a special Bubblemaker Crew-Pak. This commemorative package includes a souvenir towel, a logbook to record their first dive, a certificate of achievement, a temporary tattoo, stickers, and fun Bubblemaker-themed water toys. These items serve as a wonderful memento of their initial underwater exploration and a reminder of the fun they had discovering the aquatic environment.
