Open Water Diver

The foundational PADI certification, certifying divers to 18 metres with a buddy anywhere in the world. Kappi-Divers offers this course in four formats: a standard version split into pool/theory and open water, a compact version, a VIP option for two people, and a solo VIP — the last two being the more intensive private formats.

E-learning and the PADI certification card are included from €399. The open water dives take place at an external dive site; dive base fees and travel costs are additional. The course runs approximately four to six days depending on the format chosen.

Minimum age is 10 years. The school has been running OWD courses since at least 2020 and multiple team members completed their own certification here before moving on to instructor level.

The four package options mean the course can be adapted to different schedules — the compact version suits people who want to complete training in a single block, while the standard split suits those combining theory evenings with weekend pool and open water sessions.
