Discover Scuba Diving

The Discover Scuba Diving program at DiveHeaven is built around a 1-on-1 format — one guide, one diver, no exceptions. That ratio matters here because the reef conditions at the East Gilis, while generally calm, are a real underwater environment rather than a pool, and having an instructor's full attention from the start sets the right tone.

The session begins with a brief theory introduction covering basic scuba equipment, underwater communication signals, and how to stay comfortable below the surface. The briefing is straightforward and designed for people with no prior diving experience.

After the theory, you head out on the boat to one of the beginner-friendly dive sites — most likely Kura-Kura Bay, a sheltered spot with little to no current where the reef runs from 2 to 18 meters. The actual dive goes to a maximum of 8 meters, giving you a genuine look at the coral and reef fish without pressure on depth or time.
