The curriculum focuses on elevating your dive theory knowledge, refining your personal diving skills to demonstration quality, and mastering complex rescue techniques.
Key training components include assisting with student divers during training sessions and supervising certified divers during their activities. You will gain practical experience in managing dive logistics, mapping dive sites, and conducting skill assessments both on the surface and underwater. The course also involves participating in simulated emergency rescue scenarios, demanding proficiency in all fundamental open water skills, demonstrating stamina, and maintaining composure under pressure. Divemaster candidates will also gain valuable experience assisting with various PADI courses, from introductory Discover Scuba Diving experiences to the foundational Open Water Diver training.
