This course is designed for beginners and serves as the essential first step for anyone aspiring to advance their diving education or simply enjoy the ocean's beauty. The curriculum is structured to build confidence and competence, covering essential diving theory and practical skills. The PADI Open Water Certification is the most popular certification worldwide, opening doors to further PADI courses and dive adventures across the globe. Junior Open Water certifications are available for younger participants, with adjusted depth limits.

You can opt for PADI eLearning, which allows you to study the theoretical aspects at your own pace online or offline, typically taking 4-8 hours. Alternatively, in-person theory sessions with an instructor are available, estimated at 5-10 hours, providing direct guidance. The course is typically completed within 2 to 4 days, allowing for an immersive learning experience. The price for a group course (2-4 people) is PHP 25,800, which includes the 4 open water dives, diving equipment, pool entrance, speedboat use, and water/cooler.

To begin your PADI Open Water Course, you must be able to float or tread water for 10 minutes and swim 200 meters without aids, or 300 meters with mask, fins, and snorkel. A medical clearance is recommended prior to the course.
