The PADI Divemaster (DM) course at The Submersibles is your gateway to professional diving leadership. As the first professional-level certification, this program transforms recreational divers into capable dive leaders. This extensive program elevates your dive theory knowledge to an advanced level, refining your abilities in crucial areas such as dive planning, effective problem-solving, and comprehensive risk management. Practical training includes hands-on experience assisting with PADI courses, conducting professional dive briefings, mapping dive sites, and mastering rescue exercises. The primary objective is to develop your capacity to manage and lead diving activities safely and efficiently, preparing you for real-world professional diving scenarios.
To enroll in the PADI Divemaster course, you must be at least 18 years old and hold PADI Advanced Open Water Diver and PADI Rescue Diver certifications, along with current Emergency First Response (EFR) training. A minimum of 40 logged dives is required to commence the course, with at least 60 dives needed for completion. Additionally, a medical statement signed by a physician is mandatory.
