Cursus Ado 12-17 ans - Formation N1

The Cursus Ado 12-17 ans - Formation N1 at Cyprea Plongée is an introductory diving certification designed for young enthusiasts aged 12 to 17. This FFESSM-affiliated program equips participants with the fundamental skills to dive safely under supervision to a maximum depth of 20 meters. Upon successful completion, graduates will possess the confidence and competence to explore the underwater world with an instructor anywhere globally, enjoying marine environments responsibly.

The comprehensive training schedule spans from September to April, ensuring a thorough learning experience. It kicks off with a "Premières bulles" (First Bubbles) open water session in Saint Cyr sur Mer during October, offering an initial immersion into the sea. Throughout the week, participants engage in practical skill development every Monday evening at the Polygone pool in Valence, complemented by theoretical lessons often held on the same evenings prior to pool training.

A key practical component involves a dedicated dive in the 20-meter deep dive pit located in Meyzieu, typically scheduled for February or March. This controlled environment allows for focused practice of essential techniques. The course culminates in a validation day at sea in April, which mandates two dives to demonstrate mastery of the learned skills and ensure readiness for supervised dives.

This FFESSM Level 1 certification, priced at €240, includes club membership, the FFESSM license with "Loisir 1" insurance, all theoretical and practical instruction, equipment loan for specific sessions, and the official Level card, passport, and logbook. Participants are required to bring personal items such as a swim cap, swimsuit, towel, mask, and snorkel, along with fins and booties. The club provides the BCD, regulators, tanks, and wetsuits for the "Premières bulles" and confirmation sea days. Additional costs apply for travel and meals for the "Premières bulles" day, the Meyzieu dive pit outing (€28), and the validation day dives (€28 per dive).
