Fun Dives in the Pool

Maintain your scuba diving proficiency with Fun Dives in the Pool, offered by Patriot Diving at the George Washington Rec Center pool. These sessions are designed for certified divers seeking to refresh their skills in a controlled and comfortable environment. Running from 9 AM to 12:30 PM, the program focuses on essential diving techniques such as buoyancy control, familiarization with scuba equipment, and building overall confidence in the water. It serves as an excellent opportunity to stay active in the sport, particularly during colder months or for those who prefer practicing in a pool setting before heading to open water.

Participants are required to present their valid certification card upon arrival. While tanks and weights are included in the offering, divers needing to rent additional equipment like a BCD, regulator, mask, snorkel, or fins must arrange this in advance. Please note that separate rental fees apply for any gear beyond tanks and weights, ensuring you have everything necessary for a productive session.

It is important to understand that these Fun Dives are not a formal ReActivate course. For individuals who have been out of the water for over a year, Patriot Diving strongly recommends completing the full ReActivate program for a comprehensive skill refresh. This pool session is intended for casual practice and skill maintenance for already certified divers who are comfortable with their basic abilities.
