Divemaster

The Divemaster programme at Active Diving Würzburg is the first professional-level certification in the SSI and i.a.c. pathway. The school has certified Dive Leader Pros on staff — Johanna, Oliver (listed as Scuba Instructor), Samuel (who also holds a DAN Instructor rating), Sabine, and Niklas — which gives candidates a working model of what the qualification looks like in practice within a busy school environment.

Training takes place across the school's regular operations: assisting with courses, supervising student pool sessions, and participating in the dive events the school runs at lakes in Germany and neighbouring countries. This provides genuine working exposure rather than a purely academic pathway.

The Instructor Trainer on staff — Christian — means the school has the capacity to take candidates further up the professional ladder if they decide to pursue a full instructor rating after completing Divemaster.

Scheduling follows the same flexible model as all Active Diving courses. Candidates should expect a longer timeline than recreational courses given the practical hours required by the certification standards.
