To enroll in the PADI Self-Reliant Diver course, you must hold a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent) and have logged a minimum of 100 dives. Participants must also be at least 18 years of age. This course demands a higher level of experience and maturity due to its focus on independent decision-making and robust risk management. Standard scuba gear is required, supplemented by redundant air systems, which can be provided or rented.
