PADI ReActivate

The PADI ReActivate program at Ocean Turtle Tropical is specifically designed for certified divers who haven't logged a dive in the past year or more. This course offers a structured and efficient method to refresh your essential scuba skills and knowledge, ensuring you feel confident and prepared for your next underwater adventures. It's an ideal preparation for an upcoming holiday or to build confidence before enrolling in a more advanced course. For divers whose last dive was more than five years ago, a full Open Water Diver course is recommended to ensure comprehensive skill development.

The program combines self-paced independent study with hands-on in-water training. Through PADI eLearning, you can revisit dive theory at your own convenience, focusing on areas you feel less comfortable with and quickly reviewing familiar topics. This online component typically requires 1-2 hours to complete. Following the theoretical review, you will participate in a pool session with a PADI Instructor. In a small group setting, you'll practice crucial safety skills, such as mastering the alternate air source and performing emergency weight drops, ensuring you are ready for any situation.

This session also serves as a valuable opportunity to refine specific skills you wish to practice further or simply enjoy some relaxed buoyancy control exercises in the controlled environment of the pool. Upon successful completion of both the knowledge development and the in-water skills review, PADI will issue an updated certification eCard for your highest existing qualification. This official recognition confirms your readiness to dive safely and enjoyably.

Participants are required to bring their own mask and snorkel, which are available for purchase at the dive center if needed. While you are welcome to use your own scuba equipment if you have it, cylinders and weights are provided as part of the course. The ReActivate course is an excellent way to regain confidence and ensure proficiency before your next dive trip, making your underwater experiences both safe and rewarding. The warm waters, with sea temperatures averaging 18.6°C, provide a comfortable environment for skill refreshment.
