Описание курса
Tired of shivering during your dives? Tiedemann's Diving Center offers the Dry Suit Diving specialty course, designed to keep you warmer underwater and significantly extend your diving season. This course unlocks the potential for longer dives, exploration of cooler waters, and comfortable diving from early spring through late fall. You will gain the essential skills and knowledge required for safe and effective dry suit diving.
The program begins with an academic review at Tiedemann's Diving Center, covering the principles and advantages of dry suit diving. This is followed by a pool session focused on mastering buoyancy control and handling techniques specific to dry suits in a controlled environment. The course culminates with practical application through two open water dives at Dutch Springs, allowing you to confidently use your new skills.
While Tiedemann's recommends using your own dry suit to familiarize yourself with its unique features, rental equipment can be arranged if you do not own one. This ensures every student can experience the benefits of dry suit diving firsthand. The center's commitment to accessibility means you can focus on learning without equipment barriers.
By mastering dry suit diving, you can dramatically enhance your comfort and enjoyment, especially in water temperatures that might otherwise limit your diving. The average sea temperature around the region is 12.7°C, making dry suit proficiency a valuable asset for year-round diving. This certification opens new diving opportunities and allows you to maximize your time in and around the water, providing the confidence to explore diverse underwater environments regardless of temperature.
Tiedemann's Diving Center offers this specialty in multiple languages, including German, English, French, and Dutch, catering to a diverse range of divers. The center is certified by IDEA, SSI, and TDI, ensuring a high standard of training. This course is an excellent next step for certified divers looking to expand their capabilities and comfort in cooler conditions.
