Описание курса
The Tec Advanced course at Aquanautic Club Lanzarote is designed to elevate your technical diving capabilities beyond the foundational level. Building upon the skills acquired in Tec Fundamental or an equivalent certification, this program focuses on managing complex scenarios and critical situations. You will engage in at least 6 open water dives, totaling over 5 hours of bottom time, reaching depths of at least 35 meters. A significant portion of this training involves decompression dives, with a minimum of 15 minutes of required decompression time per dive, preparing you for extended bottom times and planned ascents. The course covers advanced equipment configurations, including stage bottle handling and potential malfunctions, alongside essential gas management techniques and team diving protocols. This comprehensive training is certified by CMAS and SSI, ensuring a high standard of technical diving education.
This advanced technical diving program introduces decompression-obligatory dive profiles, including the critical skill of gas switching, which the I.A.C. recommends using NX 50 from 21 meters. Participants will practice emergency decompression procedures and learn to dive according to a precise runtime, a vital skill for managing complex dive plans. The curriculum includes detailed instruction on advanced equipment setup, hose routing, and dry practice drills to ensure proficiency. You will gain a deep understanding of decompression theory, covering deep and shallow stops, ascent profiles, and the physiological effects of oxygen and nitrogen, including MOD, CNS, OTU, and END calculations. The course also emphasizes dive planning using specialized decompression software, equipping you with the tools for safe and efficient technical dives.
Lanzarote offers a unique environment for technical diving, with water temperatures averaging around 20.2°C, making it suitable for diving year-round. While specific visibility and dive site details for the Tec Advanced course are not provided, the island is known for its volcanic underwater landscapes and diverse marine life, offering engaging backdrops for advanced training. The climate data shows mild air temperatures, with averages ranging from 19.5°C in January to 24.3°C in August, with minimal rainfall during the summer months, ideal for surface intervals and preparation.
To enroll in the Tec Advanced course, you must have completed the I.A.C. Tec Fundamental or a comparable certification, possess a minimum of 80 logged dives, and meet specific dive time and depth requirements. The course includes approximately 6 hours of theory sessions, culminating in an exam, to solidify your understanding of technical diving principles. Aquanautic Club Lanzarote provides this rigorous training to ensure divers are exceptionally well-prepared for the challenges of complex technical diving scenarios. The price for this extensive technical certification is 599 EUR, representing a significant investment in your advanced diving education.
