Celacanto takes its name from the mythical living fossil fish and operates from Altea, a charming coastal town known for its old quarter of white houses and blue dome. The Altea coast offers varied and less crowded dive sites.

Seabeds include posidonia meadows, rock formations, small caves, and walls with colorful encrusting life. Sierra de Bèrnia drops into the sea creating interesting underwater reliefs.

Typical Mediterranean fauna is well represented: groupers, moray eels, octopuses, barracudas, sea breams, and a rich invertebrate community. Dives are accessible for all levels.

Celacanto is ideal for divers seeking to combine quality dives with the charm of one of the Costa Blanca's prettiest towns.
