XALOC DIVING CENTER

Xaloc Diving Center is an SSI dive center established in L'Estartit, a privileged location on the Costa Brava that serves as the gateway to the Montgri Natural Park, Medes Islands and Baix Ter. With over 20 years of experience training divers, the center has consolidated its reputation as one of the most respected dive schools in the region, having trained numerous instructors who now work in centers worldwide.

The center's infrastructure is designed to offer a complete diving experience. It has its own boat allowing daily trips to the Medes Islands, considered one of the best marine reserves in the western Mediterranean for biodiversity and visibility. For confined water training, the center uses the Hotel Nereida pool, ensuring optimal learning conditions. Facilities include changing rooms, showers, equipment area and classrooms equipped with audiovisual material for theory sessions.

The training catalogue ranges from discover scuba diving (99€) to SSI professional courses, including technical specialties such as sidemount, deep diving, cave diving and technical diving. The Open Water program is available in three modalities (Basic, Gold and Platinum) with prices from 395€ to 555€ depending on the desired level of personalization. For certified divers, they offer recreational dive packages between 92€ and 125€, plus snorkeling activities in the marine reserve for 36€.

Xaloc Diving Center stands out for its strong commitment to environmental sustainability. The center holds ISO 14001 environmental management certification, is an active member of Green Fins (global program for coral reef protection), and operates as a Tourist Operator of the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism under Europarc certification. This ecological philosophy is reflected in all operations, from responsible diving practices to the environmental education provided to students.

The multilingual team speaks Catalan, Spanish, English and French, facilitating service to international divers. The center offers technical service and equipment maintenance, complete equipment rental, and has diving insurance available.
