Diving Center Viking is a family-run dive center located in Hvar, on the Croatian island of the same name. Founded in 2003 by Vinko, a CMAS 2-star instructor and boat captain with over 30 years of experience, and his wife Ksenija, the center offers a comprehensive range of PADI courses and guided boat dive trips. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, it provides courses from Discover Scuba Diving all the way to Divemaster, covering more than 15 dive sites around the island. As a PADI 5 Star Dive Resort, the center offers a complete training programme ranging from Discover Scuba Diving (EUR 95) to Divemaster level, including the PADI Scuba Diver (EUR 499, 2 days), PADI Open Water Diver (EUR 629, 3-4 days) and PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (EUR 549, 2-3 days). In addition to the PADI programme, the center is affiliated with CMAS, enabling it to offer certifications recognised across Europe and internationally. All courses include full gear, eLearning, certification and DAN insurance with no hidden costs.
For certified divers, the center organises boat dives to over 15 dive sites spread around the coastline of Hvar island, between 5 and 60 minutes by boat from the base. Available services include single dives (EUR 69-79 by boat), multi-day packages, night dives (with a EUR 20 surcharge) and private diving. Full or individual equipment rental (regulator, wetsuit, BCD) is available at competitive daily rates.
The center features a sheltered bay with a terrace and sunbeds, providing a calm, relaxed environment for gearing up and recovering between dives. The compressor is state-of-the-art and silent (320 liters/min capacity), and all diving equipment is fully renewed.
