Diving Center Black Pearl is a PADI Five Star dive center located on the island of Hvar on the Dalmatian coast of Croatia. With two operating bases — one in Jelsa, housed in the historic Hotel Jadran, and another in Vrboska, integrated within the AMINESS Senses Resort — the center enjoys a privileged setting on one of the most beautiful islands in the Mediterranean. Founded in 2014 by Nebojša Mišić, it has built a strong reputation among divers from across Europe thanks to its professionalism and the quality of its waters.
The Black Pearl team consists of four certified PADI instructors and four divemasters, attending groups of up to 10 divers per session. Staff speak English, German, French, Italian, Croatian and Spanish, enabling the center to serve a truly international clientele. The regular season runs from May to October, though off-season dives can be arranged on request.
The center offers a comprehensive range of PADI courses for all levels: from the Bubblemaker program for children and Junior courses, through the Open Water Diver (from €500) and Advanced Open Water Diver (from €320), to Rescue Diver and Divemaster. Specialty courses including underwater photography and EFR first aid are also available. For certified divers, the center organises boat dives to the best diving spots around the Hvar archipelago.
The center's fleet consists of two vessels of up to 8 metres, equipped to transport up to 10 divers comfortably and safely. Dive equipment on offer is modern and of high quality, with a full rental service for those who prefer not to travel with their own gear. Payment is accepted in cash, by card or bank transfer, and the center is open every day from 08:30 to 19:00 during the season.
With over 100 Google reviews and an average rating of 4.8 out of 5, Diving Center Black Pearl is one of the most highly regarded diving options on Hvar island. Its key strengths — quality of instruction, linguistic diversity, presence across two locations and personalised service — make it a first-rate choice for both those taking their first steps in diving and advanced divers looking to explore the Adriatic seabed.
