The PADI ReActivate program at Ocean Turtle Tropical is specifically designed for certified divers who haven't logged a dive in the past year or more. This course offers a structured and efficient method to refresh your essential scuba skills and knowledge, ensuring you feel confident and prepared for your next underwater adventures. It's an ideal preparation for an upcoming holiday or to build confidence before enrolling in a more advanced course. For divers whose last dive was more than five years ago, a full Open Water Diver course is recommended to ensure comprehensive skill development. The program combines self-paced independent study with hands-on in-water training. Through PADI eLearning, you can revisit dive theory at your own convenience, focusing on areas you feel less comfortable with and quickly reviewing familiar topics. This online component typically requires 1-2 hours to complete. Following the theoretical review, you will participate in a pool session with a PADI Instructor. In a small group setting, you'll practice crucial safety skills, such as mastering the alternate air source and performing emergency weight drops, ensuring you are ready for any situation. This session also serves as a valuable opportunity to refine specific skills you wish to practice further or simply enjoy some relaxed buoyancy control exercises in the controlled environment of the pool. Upon successful completion of both the knowledge development and the in-water skills review, PADI will issue an updated certification eCard for your highest existing qualification. Participants are required to bring their own mask and snorkel, which are available for purchase at the dive center if needed. Guided Shore and Night Dive

Ocean Turtle Tropical offers a unique Guided Shore and Night Dive experience in the picturesque Marina del Este, La Herradura. This specialty course is designed for certified divers seeking to explore the rich Mediterranean underwater environment under the expert guidance of PADI Professionals. Participants will discover vibrant marine life and intricate rocky reefs, with opportunities to encounter species like octopus, moray eels, scorpionfish, and barracuda. The program emphasizes responsible diving practices, reflecting the center's commitment as a PADI Eco Center dedicated to ocean conservation. This guided exploration is an excellent way to enhance your diving skills and gain deeper insights into the local ecosystem. The waters around Marina del Este offer a diverse marine habitat. While specific visibility data is not provided, the Mediterranean Sea typically offers good conditions for shore diving. The sea temperature averages around 18.6°C, with monthly variations from a cooler 13.3°C in December to a warmer 28.7°C in August, providing comfortable diving conditions throughout much of the year.
