Gas Blender
The Gas Blender course teaches safe preparation of nitrox mixtures for both recreational and technical diving. Ocean Dreams offers it as part of their technical programme, which makes sense given that nitrox is a prerequisite input for multiple levels of the XR track. Entry requires Enriched Air Nitrox Diver certification and a minimum age of 18. The course covers mixing procedures and safety protocols for producing nitrox blends in a centre environment — the same type of gas management Ocean Dreams uses operationally for their nitrox fills (offered on site at €1.30 per litre, 22–34%). This is a niche qualification that has practical value for anyone working in or aspiring to work in a dive centre, or for technical divers who want to understand the gas they're breathing. Price is on request.

They work exclusively with SSI — Scuba Schools International — for all recreational, technical, and professional courses. The lead instructor Jan Lambert is both an SSI trainer and an SSI TXR (Technical Extended Range) trainer.
The Open Water Diver course accepts students from 10 years old (Junior Open Water Diver). The Dive Guide professional course starts at 15. Most technical courses require a minimum age of 18.
Yes. They have a hostel directly above the diving base with shared rooms for up to 6 people, shared toilets and showers, a large terrace with a bar, and views of the beach and harbour. This is specifically tied to their professional internship programmes (Divemaster and Assistant Instructor).
A single house reef dive is €60 without gear or €70 with. Packs range from 2 dives at €90/€110 up to 10 dives over 5 days at €380/€480. Boat surcharge is €15 per dive, night dives add €20.
Six named sites: Palm-Mar Cave and Wall, Abades, Tabaiba (a wreck), Las Eras (wall with swim-through), and Brains Cave (reserved for experienced divers). Depths range from 15 m at Brains Cave to 35 m at Palm-Mar Cave, Abades, and Tabaiba.

The internship runs in two phases: a structured 10-day taught block covering everything needed to conduct dives and assist with courses, followed by an open-ended practical phase covering client communication, base and equipment maintenance, and compressor work. Students average one month in total.
Yes. Snorkelling costs €50 and full equipment rental is included. There is also a snorkelling minicourse from shore at €100. Transfers go by boat from the nearby port, and the site sees turtles, rays, barracuda, and dolphins regularly.
