The nearest major airport is Sultan Ismail Petra Airport (KBR) in Kota Bharu. From there, you can take a taxi or private transfer to Kuala Besut Jetty. Alternatively, comfortable bus rides are available to Kuala Besut. From Kuala Besut Jetty, speedboats operate daily to the Perhentian Marriott Resort & Spa jetty, where YBD Dive Centre is located. The boat ride takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
The Perhentian Islands offer a variety of dive sites including Tanjung Basi (up to 30m), Sugar Wreck (18m), Terumbu Tiga (T3) (25m), Tokong Laut (25m), San Choi Wreck (18m), Serenggeh (18m), and Whip Garden (25m). Many other sites like Tokong Burung, Magnificient 7 Wreck, and Romantic Beach are also available.

For the PADI Bubblemaker program, children must be at least 8 years old. For Discover Scuba Diving and Scuba Diver courses, the minimum age is 10 years old. For the Open Water Diver course, the minimum age is also 10 years old, and they must have adequate swimming skills and be in reasonable physical health.
The Perhentian Islands are known for their diverse marine life, including turtles (Hawksbill and Green), reef sharks (Blacktip and Bamboo), rays (Jenkins Whipray, Bluespotted Stingray, Marble Ray, Eagle Ray), Napoleon Wrasse, Humphead Parrotfish, Barracudas, Cuttlefish, Squid, and numerous species of colorful reef fish, nudibranchs, and moray eels. Whale sharks are also occasionally spotted between August and October.
