This specific training program offered by Aquaholic focuses on the unique techniques required for effective and safe drysuit handling. You will develop the skills to manage the suit's buoyancy, crucial for underwater stability and comfort. The course typically includes two open water dives, emphasizing proper trim and preventing unwanted air movement. Aquaholic offers this specialty under PADI, NAUI, CMAS, and SSI certification, ensuring broad recognition of your training. You will learn specific procedures for donning, maintaining, and doffing the drysuit, as well as emergency procedures unique to this equipment. Dive depths will be adapted to the specialization's learning objectives, usually up to 30 meters, in accordance with the standards of the respective certifying agencies. The practical dives will take place at local dive sites suitable for practicing drysuit techniques, considering water conditions and accessibility. This course is excellent preparation for divers planning to explore colder climates or extend their diving season. Aquaholic's instructors, fluent in Dutch and English, will guide you step-by-step. You will benefit from the expertise of a center focused on your comfort and safety, regardless of water temperature. The focus is on building confidence and competence in using the drysuit, enabling you to independently enjoy diving in conditions that might have previously seemed too cold or challenging. The course is designed to impart the necessary knowledge and practical skills to fully utilize the benefits of drysuit diving, with a strong emphasis on safety and efficiency. Theoretical sessions cover the physics behind drysuits and specific equipment requirements, while practical dives allow you to apply these concepts in real-world scenarios. The course is conducted in the vicinity of the center, with dive sites chosen based on weather conditions and student learning curves. Instructors will provide feedback and guidance to ensure correct technique application and comfort during your dives. Aquaholic's drysuit diving specialty is a valuable addition to your diving skills, opening access to a wider range of dive destinations and conditions. You will learn to effectively manage air within your suit to control positive and negative buoyancy, essential for stable diving. The course prepares you for diving in diverse water conditions, from Dutch lakes to potentially colder sea areas, ensuring you remain warm and dry. The emphasis is on developing a natural interaction with the drysuit, making it an extension of your own underwater movements. Aquaholic's instructors share their extensive experience to teach you the most effective and safe methods.
