Descrizione del Corso
Paradis Plongée introduces divers to the Mares Horizon semi-closed rebreather (SCR) with their "Découverte recycleur horizon" specialty course. This program focuses on the fundamental techniques and procedures for operating this advanced diving equipment. Rebreathers are known for their ability to reduce bubble production, enhance buoyancy control, and extend underwater exploration times, fostering a more intimate connection with marine life. The Horizon system is specifically designed for ease of use, making it an accessible entry point into rebreather diving for a range of experience levels. This discovery experience offers a unique perspective on the underwater world, particularly beneficial for underwater photographers and wildlife enthusiasts seeking a less intrusive presence.
The waters around the center offer varied conditions throughout the year, with sea temperatures ranging from a cooler 8.1°C in January to a pleasant 17.5°C average, peaking around 25.4°C in July and August. While rainfall varies, with higher amounts in spring and autumn, the summer months typically see less precipitation, offering more consistent diving opportunities. These conditions provide a good environment for learning and experiencing the benefits of rebreather technology, allowing for longer, more tranquil dives to observe the local marine ecosystems.
Paradis Plongée, a center certified by CMAS, FFESSM, IANTD, PADI, SDI, SSI, and TDI, ensures a high standard of training. With a Google rating of 5 stars, their commitment to diver education and safety is evident. The center operates primarily in French, catering to a diverse clientele. While specific details on instructor-to-student ratios or vessel types are not provided for this course, the center's multiple certifications and high rating suggest a professional and well-equipped operation ready to guide you through this specialized training.
This "Découverte recycleur horizon" course is an excellent opportunity for certified divers curious about the advantages of rebreather technology.
