DISCOVER SCUBA DIVING

The PADI Discover Scuba Diving experience offers a direct pathway into the underwater world, conducted by this center with PADI certification. This introductory program is designed for individuals curious about scuba diving but not yet committed to a full certification course. Participants will experience the unique sensation of breathing and moving freely beneath the surface in a safe and controlled environment. The session is structured to provide a foundational understanding and a memorable first dive.

This experience typically includes a concise theory segment covering essential safety protocols and basic scuba principles. Following this, a practical skills session takes place in shallow water, where fundamental techniques such as mask clearing and regulator recovery are practiced. The culmination is a supervised open water dive, reaching a maximum depth of 12 meters, allowing participants to explore the marine environment and observe local aquatic life under constant guidance from a PADI professional. This supervised dive is limited to 12 meters, ensuring a comfortable and secure introduction.

During the months of July and August, the water temperature averages around 27.2°C and 26.5°C respectively, providing a pleasant environment for this introductory dive. These warmer months offer ideal conditions for new divers to acclimate to the underwater realm. The visibility and specific marine life encountered will depend on the exact dive site chosen by the center for the open water portion of the experience.
