Descrizione del Corso
The Open Water Diver course at Diving Santa Teresa is your gateway to becoming a certified autonomous diver, recognized worldwide by CMAS. This foundational program is meticulously designed to equip you with the essential knowledge and skills for safe diving. Upon successful completion, you will be qualified to explore underwater environments to a maximum depth of 18 meters. The curriculum includes comprehensive theoretical instruction covering dive planning, physics, physiology, and safety protocols, followed by practical sessions in confined water to master essential skills. You will then progress to open water dives, applying your newly acquired abilities in real diving scenarios.
This certification opens up a world of underwater exploration, allowing you to plan and execute dives independently with a buddy. The course structure ensures a gradual learning curve, building confidence with each step. If you already hold a Scuba Diver certification, Diving Santa Teresa offers an accelerated path to upgrade your qualifications, allowing you to achieve the Open Water Diver level more quickly. The focus is on building a strong understanding of diving principles and developing proficient skills for enjoyable and safe underwater adventures.
Diving Santa Teresa prides itself on offering a high standard of diver education. The center is equipped to teach in multiple languages, including German, English, French, and Italian, ensuring a comfortable learning experience for a diverse range of international students. While specific instructor-to-student ratios are not detailed, the emphasis on thorough training suggests a commitment to personalized attention. The center's location provides access to varied dive sites suitable for training, allowing students to experience different underwater conditions and marine life.
Preparation for the Open Water Diver course involves understanding the theoretical concepts and actively participating in all practical sessions. While the course provides the necessary training and certification, students are typically expected to have basic swimming abilities. Diving Santa Teresa will guide you on any specific equipment requirements or recommendations. The goal is to ensure you are well-prepared and confident before your first independent dives, setting you up for a lifetime of underwater exploration.
