The Discover Scuba Diving experience at Big Fish runs as a single-day programme, covering basic theory and equipment orientation before the dive itself. Minimum age is 10 years and no prior experience is required. The 100€ price covers one guided dive, full equipment, and dive insurance — learning materials in the diver's language are also included as part of the centre's standard package for all courses.

The dive takes place either at Playa Las Vistas, the sandy beach site at 6–10m directly in front of the centre, or at Playa del Puertito, a site known for turtle encounters in the area. Site selection depends on conditions and group composition on the day. Both locations offer controlled, low-current environments suited to a first supervised dive with a PADI instructor.

Free air-conditioned van transfers are included, collecting from accommodation in the Los Cristianos area. The team's multilingual composition means the briefing and all in-water communication run in English, German, Spanish, or Polish depending on who's assigned. This is a one-dive introduction. It doesn't produce a PADI certification but functions as a trial before committing to a full course. Divers who want to continue have clear onward options at Big Fish — the Scuba Diver course at 300€ for five dives and a limited certification, or the Open Water Diver at 440€ for the full three-day programme. The DSD at 100€ is deductible from some course prices when booked as a direct progression.
