Cursusbeschrijving
The RIFAP (Réactions et interventions face à un accident de plongée) is a first aid and rescue certification specific to scuba diving activities, offered at Noa Plongée under the FFESSM framework. It covers emergency response to dive accidents — oxygen administration, in-water rescue, and surface management — with a curriculum downloadable as a PDF from the club's site.
At Noa Plongée, the RIFAP is embedded within the Niveau 3 curriculum, but can also be taken as a standalone certification. The instructors are qualified to deliver it: Jean-Christian ROTGER holds EFR Instructor qualification alongside his BEES1/MF1 DEJEPS and SSI credentials.
This is a practical, skills-based course — not just theory. The Saint-François marina base and the warm, accessible water of the Caribbean make it straightforward to run realistic rescue scenarios without extreme conditions getting in the way.
A medical certificate of no contraindication, issued within the last year, is required before starting.
