Plongée Phocéenne, gelegen in Marseille, Frankrijk, is a diving and freeduikcentrum offering personalized experiences in the heart of the Calanques. This center distinguishes itself with a more human and immersive approach, moving away from standardized outings to provide unique moments in small groups.
The center provides a wide range of courses for both freeduikers and scuba duikers, with certifications from SSI and CMAS/FFESSM. Freediving offerings include 'Discover Freediving' introductions and certified Molchanovs training (Wave 1 and Wave 2), as well as excursions for autonomous and certified freeduikers. For scuba duikers, courses range from 'Discover Scuba Diving' to advanced levels like Niveau 2 and Niveau 3 FFESSM, also encompassing boat diving and deep diving.
Plongée Phocéenne features faciliteiten such as a bar, duikuitrusting verhuur, and air fills (nitrox). The center organizes exploration dives in small groups, as well as night diving and boat diving. Additionally, it offers the possibility of boat privatization and custom event organization, including team building, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and filming, leveraging the exceptional setting of the Calanques of Marseille, known for their crystal-clear waters and rich bioduikersity.

What people ask before booking
Freediving involves moving underwater while holding your breath, without scuba gear, focusing on relaxation, control, and safety.
Initiation is generally accessible from 16 years old. Outings require participants to be adults (18 years).
It is recommended for initiation and mandatory for certification courses or regular outings.
A neoprene freediving suit, fins, mask, snorkel, weight belt, and weights are provided. Digital souvenir photos are also included.
You need to be comfortable in the water, able to swim at least 100-200m, be in good physical condition, and have a recommended or mandatory medical certificate. Minimum age is 16 or 18 depending on the activity. Parental authorization is required for minors.
In case of unfavorable weather, force majeure, or insufficient participants, the center will offer a new date or a full refund.
