The Discover Scuba Diving at DSDIVERS MADRID is the first contact with breathing underwater for someone with no prior experience. Theory is brief and practical: you learn what you need to get in the water, nothing more. The session takes place under direct instructor supervision at all times.
For Madrid residents, getting into open water means leaving the city. The centre uses locations such as Navalagamella for open water sessions, which gives first-timers a calmer environment than the sea. The focus is on comfort with the equipment before anything else.
This is also how many students decide whether to continue toward an Open Water certification. The progression is natural — Discover Scuba leads directly into the full PADI Open Water course if you want to carry on.

Requirements
- Edad mínima: 10 años (Open Water Junior) o 15 años (Open Water completo)
- Saber nadar 200 m sin parar (estilo libre, espalda o braza)
- Mantenerse a flote 10 minutos sin apoyo
- No padecer claustrofobia ni asma severa
- Cuestionario médico firmado (PADI) — si hay duda, certificado médico
- Si tienes lentillas o gafas, comunicarlo al inscribirte
